Where to hang a religious picture at home: tips for every room
The place for a religious painting depends both on the content of the subject and on the interior. The work should be visible enough to be meaningful in everyday life, but not necessarily dominate the entire space.
Living room
The living room allows you to use a larger format. The Holy Family, the Last Supper or the Marian scene can work on a chest of drawers, a sofa or a separate console. Do not raise the picture too high: it should remain visually connected to the furniture.
Bedroom
Calmer compositions and less surrounding decor usually work better for the bedroom. The image can be placed above the chest of drawers, on the side of the bed or in a small prayer corner.
Hallway
At the entrance, stories related to home, care and blessing are well read. It is important that the work is not in an area where it can be easily caught by outer clothing or doors.
Dining room
The Last Supper looks especially natural in the dining room due to the very content of the subject and the horizontal composition. Before installation, check whether the pendant light does not block the picture.
Prayer corner
It is not the size that is important here, but the concentration. It is better to leave free space around the image and not mix it with a random decorative set.
Lighting
Epoxy surface and crystal decor react to light. Lateral natural light can beautifully emphasize the texture, but it is better to avoid constant direct sunlight. Also, do not place the work over a radiator or in a damp area.
