How to care for a painting with epoxy resin and crystals
The glossy epoxy surface and manual decoration require more delicate care than a regular poster under glass. The basic rule is simple: less chemistry, less pressure, more prevention.
Regular cleaning
For dust, use a clean, dry microfiber. Use it without strong pressure. It is better to work with crystals and embossed details with a very soft brush so that the fabric does not touch the decor.
What not to use
Do not use abrasive sponges, acetone, strong solvents, alcohol or household sprays without confirmation of compatibility. Do not spray the liquid directly on the painting: it may run down to the edges and mount.
Sun and temperature
Long direct sunlight and strong heating are undesirable for decorative materials. Do not hang work over a radiator, fireplace or in an area of constant hot air.
Humidity
Even if the front surface has a resin coating, the entire construction includes MDF, edges and fasteners. Therefore, the work should not be considered waterproof. Condensed bathrooms and walls near the sink are bad choices.
How to transfer
Hold the picture with both hands by the edges. Do not press on the crystals or lift the pendant. During transportation, protect the front part with soft material and use a hard box.
When to contact the master
If there is a deep scratch, clouding, peeling of the decoration or damage after delivery, do not attempt to sand or top up the resin yourself. It is better to send a photo to the manufacturer.
