Merciful Jesus: the meaning of the image "Jesus, I trust in You"
The image of Jesus the Merciful is connected with the spiritual tradition of God's Mercy and the message of trust. Its key elements have a specific meaning and are not random decorative designs.
Two rays
Light and red rays emanate from the area of Christ's heart. In the Divine Mercy tradition, they have a symbolic explanation related to life and salvation.
A gesture of blessing
The raised right hand creates a direct interaction with the viewer, and the step forward makes the figure not static, but approaching.
Letter of trust
The phrase "Jesus, I trust You" concentrates the main spiritual meaning: trust does not mean the absence of difficulties, but it sets a way to experience them.
Where to place the image
A prayer corner, bedroom or living room are the most common options. If the surface is glossy, check that strong light does not block the rays and the face.
How to choose decorative work
Pay attention to the readability of the gesture, rays and inscription. Decorative crystals should enhance the light, not cover the subject.
